Kathy has been an educator since 2003, teaching parent education classes through the First Five California Child Development program and as a multiple subject classroom teacher. With more than 20 years experience in the K-5 classroom, she has a passion for collaboration and being a life-long learner herself. In 2019, she was recognized as“Teacher of The Year”  by her peers. 

Kathy has been a district math coach and a Professional Learning Leader in her school district. She has worked with Math Transformations since 2015 to engage with and equip teachers to become math leaders in their schools. When she is not in the classroom or facilitating workshops, you can find her at the beach with a book or on a boogie board!
